For every task or message which is assigned to a milestone there is a link in the footer with the milestone's name, which will take you directly to the View milestone page. Also, for every milestone that has items assigned, there is a link in the footer of the milestone with the number of assigned tasks and messages.

You can subscribe to your Teamness projects' calendars in Outlook 2007 by clicking on the iCal icon in any of the following pages: Tasks, Milestone or Dashboard. If Outlook 2007 is not configured automatically to handle the "webcal://" links, you can do it manually like this:

• Right click on the iCal icon.
• Copy the link location.
• In Outlook 2007, go to Tools -> Account settings -> Internet Calendars, choose "New" and paste the URL of the calendar.

Each user in a project has a role and, therefore, certain rights on the project. Teamness uses a simple permission mechanism that grants one of the following roles to an user:

• regular user - has write access to all items in the project
• administrator - same as the regular user, but can also invite other people to join the project
• owner - same as the administrator, but can also delete the project

There is only one owner in the project, the one who created the project. When you invite a user in a project, you must choose from regular user or administrator role to assign to the future participant. You can modify the user's role later on.

The short answer to this question is: definitely not! It is technically impossible.

The authentication using Google means two things:

• the authentication process is fully delegated to Google
• your Google authentication is connected with a Teamness account (if exists, otherwise a new one can be created).

Or, to put it in different words, the following steps are performed:

• you are accessing the Teamness login page and click on the "Login using Google" link
• you are redirected to the Google login server along with a secret key
• you login on the Google server and authorize Teamness to access your details
• you are redirected to the Teamness website along with another secret key generated by Google from the one we’ve just sent
• the information received is validated by the Teamness server to make sure that you indeed logged in successfully on the Google server and then your email address and full name are retrieved to connect you to your Teamness account

The authentication using Yahoo means two things:

• the authentication process is fully delegated to Yahoo
• your Yahoo authentication is connected with a Teamness account (if exists, otherwise a new one can be created).

Or, to put it in different words, the following steps are performed:

• you are accessing the Teamness login page and click on the "Login using Yahoo" link
• you are redirected to the Yahoo login server along with a secret key
• you login on the Yahoo server and authorize Teamness to access your details
• you are redirected to the Teamness website along with another secret key generated by Yahoo from the one we’ve just sent
• the information received is validated by the Teamness server to make sure that you indeed logged in successfully on the Yahoo server and then your email address and full name are retrieved to connect you to your Teamness account

The entire authentication procedure is performed on the Yahoo servers and there are no passwords exchanged during this time. Only at the end of the process Yahoo is redirecting you on the Teamness site confirming that it was able to authenticate you. As you can see, obtaining someone’s password is impossible because the password is never sent out of the Yahoo servers.

One method to login into Teamness is to use your Google or Yahoo credentials.

Basically, if you have a Gmail or a Yahoo email address you already have an account on such services. So instead of having to remember an additional login and password for accessing Teamness, why not to take advantage and login into Teamness using the authentication method for these services you already have and perhaps used for a long time?

We introduced this to ease the way the users are getting into their Teamness account, by taking advantage that many user already have accounts on these services.
Of course, your privacy is protected and there are no risks, like exposing your password.

We will never sell or share your data. Data in your projects is your data and Teamness has no right over it. All devices and software are protected by encrypted passwords and accessible only through encrypted communication channels. Your data and our servers are stored at an offsite, secure SoftLayer center with complete power and internet redundancy. SoftLayer is one of the world’s most advanced on-demand hosting providers. You may read about their reliable data centers and redundant network architecture.

Your credentials are encrypted using one way hash. When you login in the system, your email address and password are sent to Teamness over SSL, making it impossible to be captured and decrypted. We use SSL certificates issued by GeoTrust, one of the world's largest digital certificate providers.

In the Projects page from the Settings menu you may choose between displaying the Active or the Archived projects. In the archived projects list you are presented with details about the archived projects and you also have the possibility to activate them back.

In the Projects page from the Settings menu you are given the option to archive the active projects that you own.

Yes, you may have a multiple projects selection by either choosing All projects or My projects from the Change project panel. It's not permitted to selectively choose projects.

All projects refers to all the projects in which you are involved, regardless of your role in them.

My projects refers to the the projects you created.

You can bring up the project selection panel by clicking on the small icon in the upper left part of the page.

You may choose between All projects, My projects or a specific project. The panel presents separately the projects that you created and therefore own, and the projects that belong to other persons.

Even if we would not want you to do it, there is the option of cancelling your account. This action is irreversible, so after this operation, your Teamness account will be immediately closed and all your data will be permanently deleted.

In the Account page from the Settings menu you are given the option to pack all the data from your projects as an XML file.

Please note that the export contains only data from your account, including all your projects, but does not include external files such as account photo or files from your projects.

For performance reasons, the export can be performed only once in a day. An email with download information will be sent to you as soon as the export is ready.

In the Subscriptions page from the Settings menu you may uncheck the Receive email notifications check-box to stop receiving email notifications for tasks, milestones, invitations or any other case.
