What is Teamness?

Teamness is a web based application intended to help you organize your projects and share information with your colleagues and customers.

Teamness is hosted on our servers, so you don't have to worry about setting anything up. All you need is a web browser and an Internet connection and you'll be able to access it from anywhere.

How can Teamness help me?

Teamness intuitively solves the communication problems that occur when developing a project.

When working on a project, you basically have the following needs: requirements, milestones, messages and, the most important of all, to stay up to date with what is going on.

To help you with the above, Teamness comes with a lot of goodies including tasks, milestones, messages, file sharing, whiteboards with versions, overview of all recent activity, a powerful search engine, groups to keep your data organized, notifications and RSS to help you stay up to date with any changes and many more.

Security

The privacy and integrity of your data are essential to your business and to the reputation of ours. Security, reliability and redundancy are our main concerns when dealing with your data.

Login security
Your credentials are encrypted using one way hash. When you login in the system, your email address and password are sent to Teamness over SSL, making it impossible to be captured and decrypted. We use SSL certificates issued by GeoTrust, one of the world's largest digital certificate providers.
Confidentiality
We will never sell or share your data. Please read our Privacy policy for more information. Data in your projects is your data and Teamness has no right over it. All devices and software are protected by encrypted passwords and accessible only through encrypted communication channels. The security model in Teamness prevents customer data mixture and ensures complete customer data separation and privacy.
Hosting and network
Your data and our servers are stored at an offsite, secure SoftLayer center with complete power and internet redundancy. SoftLayer is one of the world’s most advanced on-demand hosting providers. You may read about their reliable data centers and redundant network architecture.
Data integrity
Data is written to multiple disks at once. Our hardware is redundant so even if a disk fails nothing will be lost. Besides this, daily backups to another safe location are performed to make sure your files and the database with your information are completely safe.
